well its that time of the day again. the models just don't want to show us anything trustworthy. they are playing the game of putting a storm and then 6 hours later the new run gets rid of the storms. we have a chance of some substantial rain this weekend, but i know thats not what you all want to hear now in the month of december. the one storm that was on the GFS map from last night is surprisingly still on it. it is a coastal snowstorm on the 29th of december and into the 30th. now your talking 10 days away. what i get out of it is that we are in a stormy weather pattern, but we just need to get all the right elements together to get our big storm. the only reason why i think that a snowstorm is possible during that time period is because the NAO is going negative. (check the nao page on the site for more info) for now were just going to see how things play out. well thats all for today, i will leave you with the GFS models idea of a storm on the 29th.
