ONE BIG MESS

The title sums it up. We are in for one big mess. Snow moves in early tomorrow morning before the sun comes up. Looks like a 2-5 inch snowfall ending in the early afternoon hours.

The storm brings
1. 2-5 inches of snow
2. More snow on top of our already fallen snow. ( Many side roads still are snow covered from yesterdays snow.)
3. Strong winds. (Even after the snow stops falling, the snow will be blowing back onto the roads making it hard to clean up.)
4. Bitter cold! ( Temperatures ranging from lower to middle teens.) With the wind it will feel like below zero.

Delays and closings?

Well it all depends on how the plow crews work. The will have 15-20 hours to clean up after the snow stops falling. What may help is that the snow will keep blowing and cover the roads again. The already snow covered roads have all ice on them now, which is hard to plow. We have a shot at a delay, but first lets see how the crews do. More on this tomorrow.
