Snow is done for the most part. Tonight we will get a dusting of snow at the most. We had sleet mix in during the middle of the storm, which lowered totals. We had about 5 inches of snow, which was a little less then I expected, but that's because the sleet mixed in during a time of heavy precip. For the most part we did good on this storm. It was the first time since December 30, 2007 that we reached 4 inches or greater in the backyard.
To see the storm photos click on the left side of the page where it says snow photos. Also you can still send in yours.
Next storm is late tomorrow night into Sunday, and it looks like we may see a few more inches. It's coming earlier then previously thought early in the week, which will probably ruin our chances at a snow day Monday, but maybe a CHANCE of a delay. Early indications show a 2-5 inch snowfall, but lower amounts if we have another mix. Sunday night it will be cold in the lower teens with a windchill below zero at times. Also blowing snow will be a problem. More on that storm, and the Christmas eve storm tomorrow.
