Well I am happy that storm is gone. Everything predicted just seemed to go wrong. I thought we were going to get a few inches of snow at the end, but only a dusting accumulated. The viewing area received 1.5-3.0 inches of rain this week. Higher elevations did receive a lot of ice. Next week Monday or Tuesday, another winter mix comes our way. We will look at that later this weekend.
Just a note, we were not the only ones to be completely off with the storm. The models had a hard time early. Earlier this week all the major models had us around a foot of snow. The National Weather Service even said we would receive heavy snow accumulations. Even local news stations called for more snow. I guess that's just the way it goes.
