Last nights storm went just as planned. We got the delay, like it or not.
Tonight is going to be very cold. It is possible that even in the valley we will dip below zero degrees. Wilkes-Barre Area already issued a 2 hr delay for tomorrow. I do not know if they will stick with that or eventually close us. The only way we get closed tomorrow is because it is going to be very cold all day. Many areas wont get out of the single digits all day. Here we may hit the lower teens if were lucky. With the wind, at times it will feel like -20.
So were not going to play this like a storm and say, yes we will be closed or no we wont. We really have no idea, its all up to the schools now.
NOTE: Look at it this way, whats the difference between 1 degree or -1. If it was between 1 degrees and 3 degrees we would not be hyping this so much.
