February 3, 2009
Our storm system is still bringing showers and flurries, but not much more is expected. Lets just forget about what could have been and move on.
We stay cold for a few more days, but then we have a warm up. The coldest air will come Wednesday night into Thursday. The low temperature will be between 5 and 10 degrees. Add in the wind and it will feel below zero at times. As of now we don't think it will be cold enough for delays.
By the weekend we will have widespread 40's and 50's. If you live in the higher elevations such as the Poconos you should stay in the 40's, but if you live in the valley such as Wilkes-Barre, Kingston, Pittston, Wyoming, etc, it wont surprise me if we see 50's sometime Saturday and or Sunday.
No big storms for another week or so. As of now it looks like the middle of the month will be our next CHANCE.(Feb 12-18) Friday Feb 13, Sat 14, Sun 15, and Mon16 we already have off, so lets hope we don't get the snow then.
Because of the lack of winter storms, we will not post again until next week, but will accept any questions asked during our time off.
